The MadreForte story

MadreForte. Style. Strength. Empowerment.

MadreForte means “Strong Mother” in Italian, and that strength is in everything here. Founded in Palos Hills, Illinois, MadreForte is more than a boutique. It’s a reminder that you can be strong, soft, ambitious, overwhelmed, confident, and still figuring it out, all at the same time.

Every graphic is printed in-house in Palos Hills, one order at a time. Alongside my graphic apparel, I choose boutique pieces that make it easy to build a complete look.

MadreForte is for the women who do it all: the moms balancing family and work, the dreamers chasing big goals, and the friends who lift each other up. I want you to feel seen, supported, and celebrated every time you put on a MadreForte piece.

OUR FOUNDER

Meet Nicole

Hi, I’m Nicole Marie, the heart behind MadreForte. I’ve spent over 14 years in sales and marketing, but my true passion has always been style: putting together easy looks, mixing cozy with chic, and finding the pieces that make you feel like the most confident version of yourself.

Inspired by my Italian and Croatian roots, I created MadreForte to blend empowerment with everyday fashion. I believe what you wear should make you smile, feel good in your own skin, and remind you of your strength.

As a wife, mom, and corporate professional who travels nationwide, I know what it’s like to juggle a busy life and still want to feel put-together. I design with women like us in mind: women who do it all and deserve clothes that keep up.

I’ve walked my own journey of healing and transformation, and I want MadreForte to be a place where women feel seen and inspired. My favorite quote is Audrey Hepburn’s: “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m possible!’” Your potential is limitless, and your wardrobe should cheer you on every step of the way.
